About my work
The art of mosaic, often overlooked and undervalued, is rich in culture, materials and skill. My goal is to both celebrate and challenge this unique art form. Underpinned by colour and with an intuitive approach I have a vibrant styles of making - both with commissioned work and within my own practice - which bring beauty to the world.
About commissioned work
A thoughtful interpretation of the clients’ requirements is central to the commission process. Over 30 years, now equipped with a broad spectrum of skills I continue to welcome commissions from private, corporate, public clients and schools.
Consultations, site visits and community participation (if appropriate) are all part of the commission process. The majority of the making is carried out in the studio with the client invited to view the work at key stages of the design. Installation can take several days depending on the nature of the project.
Projects are costed by a square metre rate and/or a day rate fee.
