Mosaic fireplace surround

This successful commission adds warmth and harmony to the living room with it's dramatic use of pattern and colour, renovating a disused fireplace. 

Materials: A combination of vitreous glass and stained glass set against a backdrop  of glazed black tiles shot through with bronze and gold.  Dimensions:  Central panel 1 m. x 1 m. plus surrounding area.
Practical Information:  The central panel of the fireplace has been made on plywood and inserted into position. Therefore if the client decided to relocate it can be  hung as a picture. The hearth area is fixed permanently onto the existing tiles.  All the tiles, grouts and adhesives are water resistant and durable.
