Inspired by the Byzantine icon Empress Theodora but still using mudlarked finds from the shores of London’s River Thames. Combining traditional mosaic work with porcelain clay cast handles, feet and stoppers. A jaunty celebration of movement , texture and colour and 24 carat gold tesserae.
