Totem of the Thames

Mudlarked fragments from London's River Thames form the basis of this work. The shapes of weather worn pieces of ceramic and glass have been recreated using a poly concrete render technique. Embellished with the original fragments and replicas which have been cast in porcelain clay slip. The bright, contemporary colours form the backdrop for this hidden history of London washed up by the tide of the Thames.
