STACKS - ‘Pink is Not a Colour’

Mudlarked fragments from London’s River Thames form the basis of this work. Weather worn pieces of ceramic and glass recreated in porcelain slipware, Jesmonite and poly concrete render. Embellished with gold lustres, traditional mosaic tesserae gilding. Assembled with the originals to create these stacks of colour.

Materials: Poly concrete base with mudlarked finds and porcelain clay slip cast elements. These are indoor sculptures.
